Sri Krishna Jayanthi

Today evening we celebrated Sri Krishna jayanthi by evening 6pm . Usually Sri Krishna jayanthi is celebrated in avani month Roghini Nakshatra day .Some celebrate it on astami thithi as Jenmastami .

We keep foot prints of Lord Krishna from our main door towards pooja room welcoming Him .

I made kesari vadai sundal payasam and venpongal with fruits and offered to the Lord along with milk , curd, butter and rice flakes.

1.Achyuthanantha Govinda  Namocharana   beshajaath,

Nasyanthi sakala roga   sathyam sathyam  vadamyaham.


1.The chanting  of  the names  Achyutha , Anantha and Govinda  is the medicine  ,

And  I tell the truth and nothing but the  truth  that  it would destroy  all diseases.

My grand daughter chanted this mantra for ” lokha shemam sukino bhavanthu “.

Let’s all worship Sri Krishna and seek His blessings.
